Vin Diesel has been a staple for action movie front-runners for many years and, as of 2020, has been in over 20 action movies (many of which include his long-running go as Dominic Toretto in The Fast and The Furious franchise).
With many more action movies on the way for Diesel, fans can be sure that there will be many more badass moments hitting the big screen. One thing fans have agreed on recently is the increasingly incredible stunts that the Fast and Furious cast seem to come up with for each sequel. From Riddick to xXx, here are 10 hilariously badass things that fans have seen (and only will see) Diesel accomplish on the big screen.
10 Take Down A Bullying Teacher While Teaching Self-Defense

The Pacifier was released in 2005 and stars Diesel as Shane Wolfe, who has been assigned to protect the kids from the enemies of their recently killed father. Wolfe appears as a secret agent posing as a babysitter which allows for some comedic moments throughout the movie.
One of the kids Wolfe is assigned to protect, Seth Plummer (Max Thieriot), has had a few run-ins with the vice principal, Dwayne Murney (Brad Garrett) who brags about his achievements in wrestling. Little does he know when he challenges Wolfe to a fight, he is taking on a fully trained machine. Wolfe uses this opportunity to humiliate the teacher and does so with ease all while showing the rest of the students how to effectively take down an opponent.
9 Engage In A Flaming Sword Fight

Released in 2015, The Last Witch Hunter sees Diesel playing the lead character Kaulder, who engages in a fight with the Witch Queen.
Rest assured the inclusion of this example isn't due to Vin Diesel's inability to win in real life - given all of his experience in action movie roles over the years, fans are fairly certain that if Diesel was to engage in a flaming sword fight, he would use a few tricks he has picked up over the years to win. The flaming sword used in the movie was 100% practical effects meaning he was actually wielding a sword on fire with a tank of propane gas strapped to his back.
8 Ski Through A Forest

15 years after originally appearing as Xander Cage in the original xXx (2002), Diesel returns as the action hero in xXx: The Return of Xander Cage (2017). His entrance scene in the movie involves Cage scaling a communication tower to then, not only, jump off without a parachute, but to land on skis, an unsurvivable distance, in a forest below. Cage continues to ski through a forest, perform numerous jumps and spins while somehow avoiding logs, vines, and tree stumps.
It turns out Cage stole a device from the tower all so that the residents of the town below can watch a football match. It seems Cage has settled in this town ever since Ice Cube took over the role in xXx 2: The Next Level (2005). Cube makes a return as his character Darius Stone in the 2017 movie.
7 Cave In A Roof Using His Foot

Furious 7 showcased Dom Toretto's face-off against Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham). Shaw is the brother of Owen Shaw (Luke Evans), who was the main antagonist in Fast and Furious 6. Deckard shaw's revenge began with the supposed death of Han, who we now know returns in Fast 9.
In the final act of Furious 7, Shaw and Toretto engage in a street fight with Toretto wielding two spanners and Shaw using two broken pieces of metal from his car. The fight ends with Diesel's character stating "The thing about street fights...the street always wins," before proceeding to stamp his foot on the ground to cave in the roof of the structure that the fight takes place on.
6 Jump Between Two Bridges To Catch Letty

Perhaps it's cheating to include four examples from the Fast and Furious franchise but with the nature of the film's stunts, it's hard not to.
With fast cars and tanks, this scene from Fast and Furious 6 screams classic Fast and Furious action scene. With Letty in the tank and Toretto's team in their cars, the scene ends with Letty being thrown from the tank about to fall to the water below but not before Dom manages to catapult himself off his car, catch Letty in mid-air and land on the windshield of a car on the other side of the bridge.
5 Wheelie A Car Into A Villian

2009's Fast and Furious (if you can keep track of the titles) sees Toretto come to the rescue again, but this time to Brian O'Connor (Paul Walker).
The two team up to stop a heroin dealer who almost manages to kill O'Connor. Just in time, Toretto appears and drives his car only on its back wheels with the front raised towards Phoenix (Laz Alonso) who tries to run out of the way of the car. Walker's character, still weak from a crash, manages to grab Phoenix's ankle to hold him in place allowing Dom to ram him with his classic 1970 Dodge Charger.
4 Slingshot A Car Between Two Mountains

Fast 9 was one of the movies that sadly had its release date pushed back to spring 2021 but that doesn't mean fans can't get a glimpse of some of the gravity-defying stunts from the trailer.
One of the final trailer shots includes Dom Toretto in a car with his girlfriend Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) driving towards a cliff edge where there is no bridge. That doesn't stop Dom from driving off the edge, only to be slung by a rope anchored to the car, across the gap, safely onto the mountain beside. The trailer does not show a safe landing but if the previous movies are any indication, fans can be certain they will land perfectly on the other side.
3 Tame A Rabid Hell-Hound

It's feeding time for the hellhounds in The Chronicles of Riddick where Diesel plays the titular intergalactic mercenary Riddick. Once the hounds are released to freely feed on prisoners, Diesel's character finds himself face to face with one of the dogs but manages to tame the beast and turn it onto his side stating that "it's an animal thing."
Diesel has stated that the script for another Riddick movie, Riddick 4: Furya, has been completed and was written by David Twohy.
2 Kill A Man With A Tea Cup

Diesel as Riddick to the rescue once again but not using the methods you may think. Kyra (Alexa Davalos) demonstrated that she could hold her own when one of the guards started searching her, which didn't end well for him. Two more guards manage to overpower Kyra before Riddick appears and plainly states, "I'll kill you with my teacup."
One of the guards brandishes his knife and goes for Riddick only for Riddick to fulfill his promise and pound the teacup into the guard's chest, causing an instantly fatal wound.
1 Survive A Shotgun Blast To The Face

Although Bloodshot has just hit theatres, there is no need for a spoiler alert as the badass moment from this movie is included in the trailer. Diesel plays Ray Garrison, a soldier who, after being killed in battle, is brought back to life with technology that repairs his body following damage. His new creators manipulate his memories so he will take out their enemy targets (again, all information that is in the trailers), but he soon learns this and wonders if he can even trust himself.
There are many great moments in the trailer, such as Diesel fly-kicking enemies into vans, and the full movie will likely be riddled with them, but one, in particular, is when Garrison takes a shotgun blast to the face, only for the robotics in his veins to instantly heal his body as it is jolted back into fighting action.
