Once he started to be honest with his desires and actually went after them, he was able to find true happiness and success. Yet we all know he wouldn't have been able to do it without Dorothy by his side.

As Jerry states towards the very end of the film, "we live in a cynical, cynical world". Dorothy must agree with this, because she tells Jerry that she thinks in this day and age any form of positivity must be revolutionary.

This hilarious line is uttered by Dorothy's protective sister, Laurel. It is beautiful to witness the relationship between Laurel and Dorothy, considering all Laurel wants is for Dorothy to be happy. She is extremely protective of her sister and she doesn't want to see her get hurt. Now that's a good sister! Laurel says this line as Dorothy gets all weepy right before her first date with Jerry, who she has been crushing on for a lifetime. While all of the characters in this film are incredibly loveable, Laurel is probably the most relatable out of the bunch.
